On June 29, 2021, we shared with you Loan Product Advisor® (LPASM) system-to-system (S2S) specification v5.1.00. The new specification provides updated requirements to create a loan application submission file based on the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO®) v3.4 along with the accompanying ulad.xsd and lpa.xsd schemas.* 

It includes the following enhancements:

  • Expanded collection of information about closing costs and subordinate financing
  • Added Freddie Mac Refi PossibleSM and other affordable loan programs
  • Removed London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) products
  • Enhanced implementation notes and documentation corrections (that have no impact on existing LPA submission requirements)

The LPA specification v5.1.00 will be available on the following dates:

  • September 23, 2021 – customer test environment (CTE)
  • November 14, 2021 – production environment
