Reimagining Servicing

Reimagining Servicing

At Freddie Mac, we believe in loan servicing by, for and about Servicers. Our journey starts with you – we’ve heard your feedback and we’re using it as the foundation for our innovation roadmap. Our Reimagine Servicing initiative is a collective effort to transform the servicing landscape, designed to improve efficiency and minimize credit losses, while making it easier for you to do business with us.

Duty to Serve

Duty to Serve

Duty to Serve is as part of Freddie Mac’s broader community mission to expand homeownership responsibly by providing more access to credit for homebuyers with very low-, low- and moderate-income in three historically underserved markets: manufactured housing, rural housing and affordable housing preservation.

Uniform Mortgage Data Program

Uniform Mortgage Data Program®

UMDP is a multifaceted, ongoing program in which we develop and implement mortgage data standards for the Single-Family loans we purchase and/or securitize. Capturing consistent and accurate data is essential to our ability to effectively assess risk on the mortgages we purchase and will create efficiencies for all industry participants.
