Important Update: UCD Closing Disclosure Relief
Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (the GSEs) are providing a six-month relief from embedding the Closing Disclosure PDF within the UCD XML file. The requirement to embed the Closing Disclosure PDF in the UCD XML file will be fully enforced no earlier than April 2018.

Requirements Once You've Established a Custodial Account
As a reminder, all active Freddie Mac Servicers with at least one mortgage in their portfolio must have an account at an eligible depository for principal/interest and escrow and must submit their completed Letter Agreements to Freddie Mac when establishing their custodial accounts. New Obtain Credit Bid Functionality Streamlines Foreclosure Sale Bidding
With Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide Bulletin (Guide) Bulletin 2013-27, we’re introducing our new Obtain Credit Bid functionality that will provide foreclosure sale bids, referred to as credit bids, to Servicers for foreclosure sale bidding. The Obtain Credit Bid functionality is accessible through the Freddie Mac Service Loans application and must be used for all foreclosure sales occurring on or after March 17, 2014.

GSEs Publish ULDD Phase 3 Preview Specification
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (the GSEs) are publishing a joint Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) Phase 3 [xls] 'preview' specification to provide lenders and technology vendors with additional time to prepare for their implementation. At the direction of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the GSEs have worked together to identify and align on certain data delivery requirements to support the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) rule implementing the “ability to repay” (ATR) provisions of the Truth-in-Lending Act, as amended by the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act).
