ULDD Phase 4a Is Coming! Here are Some Updates to Help You Prepare
On December 14, 2021, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (the GSEs) announced through the Uniform Mortgage Data Program® (UMDP®), the Uniform Loan Delivery Dataset (ULDD) new Phase 4a data requirements. To help you prepare for the implementation of ULDD Phase 4a, the initial testing period on June 2, 2022 and the optional delivery period on August 1, 2022, we’ve made updates to supporting documents and data points.
Supporting Documentation Updates
We’ve made updates to Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix E and the ULDD FAQ. These updates highlight differences between ULDD Phase 3 and Phase 4a data points, add Phase 4a data points to the ULDD extension schema, and provide example XML files for the ULDD Phase 4a datapoints.
Additional Updates
- Removed the requirement to enter the appraised value for Deed Restricted Mortgages for Purchase Price Amount (Sort ID 195).
- Updated Loan Selling Advisor® Screen Name locations for four data points.
- Updated codes for Credit Score Provider Name (Sort ID 591.1) that are effective on June 6, 2022.
