We’re grateful for all the Servicers that work so hard to keep homeowners in their homes—and help ease the stress of a transition when that’s not possible. But one standout group of industry professionals transcends “success” and exemplifies a preeminence in their ability to navigate homeowner challenges and market fluctuations with ease.

We’re honored to celebrate the 2024 winners of Freddie Mac’s annual Servicer Honors and Rewards Program (SHARP)sm award, which annually recognizes Servicers that excelled in servicing for the previous year. The tireless work they do every day for loss mitigation helps maintain stability in the housing market.

“Freddie Mac is proud to recognize the exceptional achievements of our Servicers in this year’s SHARP awards,” says Donna Spencer, Vice President, Servicing Relationship and Performance Management. “Their leadership, expertise and dedication continue to make a crucial difference in homeowner outcomes.”

SHARP recognizes excellence in Servicers that have strong customer service programs as well as those whose efforts minimize credit risk and reduce cost. Servicers with more than 20,000 Freddie Mac master-serviced loans are automatically enrolled in SHARP—without any additional action on their part. They’re subsequently eligible for annual rewards and recognition based on the performance of their Servicer Success Scorecard, with annual ranking determining the top portfolio performance for the previous year. Servicers can also leverage Scorecard rankings as a litmus test to identify areas for improvement and to motivate higher performance as they’re also vying for industry recognition.
