Collateral Valuation and Appraisal Resources
Our goal is to purchase loans supported by the most reliable and appropriate collateral valuation methods available to mitigate the risk associated with default. We’re developing new and enhancing existing collateral valuation methods, while remaining cognizant of the integral role of appraisers and appraisal reports in the mortgage process.
Appraiser Quality Monitoring (AQM)
The goal of AQM is to improve appraisal report quality. We do this by identifying patterns of quality issues and communicating them to appraisers for training and educational purposes. Read about ways to improve appraisal report quality.
