All post-funding quality control (QC) mortgage file documentation must be delivered to Freddie Mac electronically. Paper is not permitted.

To expedite the review process, carefully review document checklists sent with file requests and remove duplicate, interim iterations and unrequested documentation and use the following delivery specifications.

Specifications for Uploading Loan Files for QC Review

File or File Folder Naming Convention

  • FMLoanNumber_LN

File Size

  • Not to exceed 100 MB for bulk uploads
  • Not to exceed 125 MB for individual uploads

Format

Provide documents in one PDF. Please ensure that documents are clear and legible.

We will not accept:

  • Multiple PDF file deliveries (bulk only accepted).
  • Files containing single-page TIFF documents.
  • File types such as Word, Text or HTML.
  • Excel documents consisting of multiple tabs.
  • JSON files.

No Document Passwords

Documents must not contain primary or secondary passwords (e.g., appraisals, title work).

Document setting security methods should be set to no security and the document restriction summary should be allow all.
