April 2025 Loan Product Advisor Release
To support the newly published LPA system-to-system specification v6.0, April’s Loan Product Advisor® (LPA®) release introduces a transformed feedback certificate, faster identification of employment representation and warranty (R&W) relief eligibility and early insights into whether a loan may receive an Accept risk class. The April LPA Release Notes include:
- Upcoming trended data requirement for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) loans, effective June 2025
- Message updates to align with the refactoring of Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) Chapters 5306, 4204 and 4504.
- New messagepdf that streamlines existing marital status error messages into a single message.
- New features with LPA v6.0
- Transformed feedback certificate to assist your consumption of essential information
- New indicator shield for employment R&W relief to help you quickly identify eligibility
- Introduction of LPA check, which assesses minimal data points to provide early insight into whether a loan may receive an Accept risk class

Feedback Messages Effective Soon
Here’s a preview of feedback messages that will be effective in May 2025:
- Title reissue – New messagepdf will indicate potential eligibility for a title insurance reissue rate based on the state and age of the loan being refinanced to help you reduce costs for your borrower.
- Debt – Updated messagepdf will provide additional detail for debt being paid off at/before closing.
Reminder: Condo Project Message Updates
Effective March 23, updated messages will indicate the eligibility status of a condominium project to provide early insights into whether a condominium unit mortgage may be eligible for sale to Freddie Mac.
